Attaching a license plate to a body kit front bumber?
I just bought a used car that has a body kit but no place to attach a license plate in front. The previous owner has received numerous tickets because he has been placing the license plate on his dash.
Any ideas on how to attach it? There's a hollowed area and a grill, but no obvious places to attach the plate. Is there someone who sells a bracket or attachment specifically for this purpose? What is the name of this bracket? Can you point me to a website? Or am I going to have to drill some holes in top and make a makeshift plate holder with zip-ties or something?
Any good ideas? Better yet, pictures?
Alot of places like Pep Boys and Auto Zone sell screws that have the metal clips they screw into, made for things like this. basically, put your plate up there level and how you want it, drill holes just large enough that the shank of the screw can fit through, then put the screw through and tighten it into the metal clip behind the backing that sets wider then the hole and tightens the plate down.
