(1) Is it okay to use a long nose visegrip on shaft of commutator to prevent it from spinning? (2) Holding the broken fan with my right hand, is it a clockwise or counterclockwise turn to disengage?
the shaft on Kirby is left hand threads, turn it backwards and it will come off.
