1985 C-10 questions...?
I have a 1985 C-10 pickup. Under a year old 350 in it. Holley 600 cfm carb w/ electric choke (if this even helps). Ok, the truck had a regular fan on the water pump, but after learning from a friend, i put on a clutch fan. Now, is it supposed to be louder necessarily? I can hear the thing's every revolution. Is it possible the fan is meant to go the other way? ( i don't know if mine goes CW or CCW, which way do the blades face for CW or CCW?) Also, the belt from my power steering pump to the harmonic balancer pulley (? the one in the center at the bottom) is moving quite a bit. It doesn't look as though it wants to jump off of the pulley, but it does cause it to loosen up every few months. It seems as if the two pulleys aren't exactly lined up, so i don't know if i should shim the power s. pump out, or if it is a timing issue. The belt in front of it, that is also going to the harmonic pulley and the compressor is just fine. Please help!!

With motor running hold piece pape on the FRONT of the radiator the fan should pull the paper towards radioator, if it blows it away fans backwards.
